Sandblast! July 19th & 20th 2008

This coming weekend I'm going to have a booth set up at my town's annual arts festival, "Sandblast." It's in a beautiful setting next to the Snoqualmie River in Duvall, Wa; there is a sand sculpture contest, performances by local bands, and artwork and crafts for sale by local artists. www.duvallarts.org/8.html

a couple of more shows to mention

Right now I have a show up at Collins Pub in Pioneer Square, around 16 paintings done within the last year or so. This is a new one I included, I call it "Birdstack."

My husband and I went to Collins Pub last Thursday, for the First Thursday Art Walk. Hadn't been to the Pioneer Square art walk in several years and we enjoyed it... there were quite a lot of people out in the streets and galleries, we both really liked Julie Paschkis' embroidered linen wall hangings and gouache paintings at Grover Thurston and all the lovely pottery at Laguna. Back to Collins Pub..they have a great beer selection and very good food, and thanks so much to Heather for giving me a show there!
